Chris, Jen, and Don discuss Don’s early experimentation with “The Garden of the Heart Prayer.” Don shares his initial skepticism toward God speaking through pictures in prayer and his initial struggle concerning if what he saw and heard in prayer was biblical, and the lasting life change that resulted. Don and Jen discuss a real-life example to illustrate the importance of leading others to hear from the Lord themselves, rather than too quickly sharing our interpretations of images someone else received during prayer. And they share a bit about why pictures can be so powerful in prayer, why they prefer to start with scripture, and why they are slow to introduce some imagery into prayer.
